Each
child will be given a bear to make come to life with
stuffing. The
stuffing will have characteristics such as kindness,
generosity, etc. Before we close up our bears, each
child will get to kiss the special heart that will be
placed inside their bear.
The children will then color T-shirts for their
special bear while snacking on gummy bears and teddy
grahams.
Then
it’s off to the birth certificate station where each
child will name their bear.
The
child will listen to the bear’s heart beat, weigh
the bear and take its measurements.

Bear Picnic
After
the bears are "born", we will have a picnic with
our bear. The children will be provided with hats,
boas and jewelry to wear. Once everyone is dressed,
each child will be given a mini picnic basket full of
goodies to eat.
